March has been deemed a fatal month this 2016 in the state of Wisconsin as the Wisconsin Department of Transportation report found that thirty-three people died in vehicular accidents this month.

Even so, the record seemed to be actually less than 2015’s figures; deaths in March 2015 are listed at forty. In fact, March 2016 is actually tied for the seventh safest month of March in terms of vehicular crashes since the end of World War II. It was also stated that the safest month was March 2010, which listed twenty-three fatalities, while the most dangerous month was  March 1970, with ninety-nine listed fatalities. The report shared that, as of the end of March, traffic related accidents are currently at a higher rate than this time last year with over hundred individuals killed, including two motorcycle drivers.
