Motorcycle crash kills one in Spring Flood Run

Sixty-two-year-old Onalaska, Wisconsin resident Randall Beers was declared dead at the scene of a motorcycle accident on the evening of April 16th. Beers had been participating in the 51st Annual Spring Flood Run and was traveling south on Highway 61 in Kellogg, Minnesota on his Harley Davidson motorcycle shortly before 5 p.m.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, that was around the time that his motorcycle collided with a Pontiac sedan that was waiting in the eastbound lane of Highway 42 to turn left onto the northbound lane of Highway 61. The Minnesota State Patrol report concluded that neither motorist was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
