Wisconsin has had 520 deaths from traffic accidents so far this year

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, 45 people lost their lives in traffic accidents in Wisconsin in the month of November 2015 alone.

Despite these fatalities, November 2015 had been the fourth safest month for people on the road when it comes to traffic deaths since World War II.

Up to the end of November 2015, 520 people have been killed in traffic accidents in Wisconsin this year — 75 of them were motorcycle drivers, four motorcycle passengers, 52 pedestrians, and 15 bicyclists.

According to David Pabst, director of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Bureau of Transportation Safety “To prevent deaths and injuries during the upcoming holiday season, law enforcement agencies will be on the lookout for drunken drivers during the national Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign from December 18 to January 3,”
