Motorcyclist hurt in two-vehicular accident

A 31-year-old West Allis, Wisconsin man was taken into police custody for charges of operating while intoxicated after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a motorcycle operated by a 47-year-old Milwaukee man near the intersection of Miller Park Way and Lincoln Avenue in Milwaukee on the evening of Monday, November 2 at around 5:45 p.m.

The motorcyclist was seriously hurt after the incident caused him to be ejected from his motorcycle. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

According to preliminary investigations, the motorcyclist was headed south on Miller Park Way near Lincoln Avenue when the West Allis man, who was headed north on the same road, turned left into the path of the motorcyclist, causing the collision. Witnesses reportedly attempted to help the injured motorcyclists while awaiting the arrival of first-responders and authorities.
