The Green County Sheriff’s Department in Wisconsin reported that two people sustained critical injuries and were airlifted via Med Flight to a hospital late Thursday, September 24 after the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a truck heading south towards Monroe at the corner of Wisconsin Highway 69 and County Highway P.
The sheriff’s department identified the victims as 57-year-old Albany resident Kevin Donahue and 54-year-old Sherri Donahue. Kevin Donahue was operating the motorcycle, traveling north on Highway 69 when a truck driven by 72-year-old Monroe resident Gary Hoffman attempted to cross the highway at Highway P and, consequently, struck the motorcycle.
The Donahues were not wearing helmets at the time of the incident.
