Marinette County motorcycle crash results in critical injury

A traffic accident between a car and a motorcycle inflicted serious injuries on a woman from Marinette County in Wisconsin, the Marinette County Dispatch reported on July 4.

According to preliminary investigations by the police, a motorcycle driven by an unidentified 52-year-old Kimberly man was traveling south on Highway 141 when a car coming from the direction of County P hit it. The motorcycle’s female passenger, the driver’s 52-year-old wife, sustained critical injuries due to the incident and was taken to a local hospital in Marinette. She was later flown to a hospital in Green Bay via Eagle III.

Police investigators said they do not think any mind-altering substances like alcohol or drugs contributed to the crash.
