Cleveland motorcyclist killed in corn planter accident in Meeme

Fifty-three-year-old rural Cleveland resident Eugene Spindler died when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a corn planter pulled by a farm tractor in Meeme, Wisconsin on the morning of May 26, the Sheboygan Press reported.

The crash occurred after 7 a.m. on Manitowoc County X, and both vehicles were traveling east. Manitowoc County Coroner Curtis Green, who was able to identify the body on Tuesday, May 27, said alcohol may have been a factor in the crash and that toxicology tests are being done as of the moment. Green said weather was another factor that police investigators are considering may have contributed to the crash. Spindler was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office deputy inspector Todd Herman said that Spindler was killed instantly. The state patrol, coroner’s office, and sheriff’s department are all collaborating in the case’s investigation.

The attorneys at Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. are deeply sorry this accident occurred and send their condolences to the friends and family suffering from this loss.
