Road accidents claim lives of two people in Caledonia

Two road vehicular accidents within an hour of each other resulted in the death of two individuals in Caledonia, Wisconsin, the Journal Sentinel reported on May 11.

A 21-year-old woman died in an off-road motorcycle accident that occurred in Caledonia at 5:12 p.m., reports from the Racine County Sheriff’s Department showed. She was brought to the Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-All Saints in Racine, where she died as a result of the critical wounds she incurred in the crash. The Racine County Sheriff’s Department has yet to conclude the investigation and is looking for evidence that would suggest that other parties may have been responsible for the woman’s death.

Meanwhile, 32-year-old Racine resident Leonard Boczkowski failed to brake at a stop sign while heading north on Highway V in his pickup truck at around 4:30 p.m. the same day. He was struck by a semi-trailer truck on Highway G and subsequently hit a telephone pole, police investigators from Caledonia said. Boczkowski died in the incident.

The attorneys at Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. send their deepest condolences to the friends and families suffering from this terrible loss.
