Four individuals reportedly died in motorcycle accidents over a two day span in Wisconsin, prompting increased attention on motorcyclist safety.
Motorcyclist Jason Laitsch, a student who enrolled in motorcycle safety classes over the spring and summer at the Waukesha County Technical College, said that defensive driving is important for motorcyclists because of the dangers that motorcycle riding poses, adding that “a minor accident in a car can be a life-ending accident in a motorcycle”.
According to plans, the technical college will be hosting over five dozen motorcycle safety classes this spring and summer.
People who have been involved in a motorcycle crash usually suffer more intense injuries than those who have been in an accident involving a different vehicle.
