Cranmoor motorcycle accident injures two

After receiving a call around 4:20 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department responded to an accident involving two motorcycles on Highway D in the township of Cranmoor, Wisconsin, a press release from the Wood County Dispatch showed.

Upon initial investigation of the situation, the police were able to determine that one motorcycle driver was trying to pass several other motorists in a group of eastbound motorcycle drivers when that driver hit another in the rear/fender, causing him to lose control of his vehicle.

Two people were hurt and hospitalized because of the incident.

Investigations are still ongoing as to the events that led up to the accident.
