Three hurt in Country Road 107 motorcycle crash

Three Wisconsin locals received medical attention at Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital due to a motorcycle accident they were involved in on Saturday morning, August 17 at around 9:30.

New Franklin local Collin Werth was driving on County Road 107 when he missed the turn on South Boundary Road. As he attempted to make a U-turn, his motorcycle was struck by Green Bay resident David Blackman’s motorbike. According to Blackman, who was Werth’s companion, he took his eyes off the road for a moment to admire the scenery and didn’t realize that Werth slowed down, causing him to slam directly into his friend’s bike.

Werth’s motorcycle was hit on the left side, ejecting both men and their passengers from their motorcycles. Carol Werth, who was riding with Collin, was injured along with both David and Lori Blackman, who were the occupants of the other motorbike.
