Second motorcyclist dies 4 days after fatal crash

A second motorcyclist, who was reportedly in critical condition after a fatal crash last March 29, recently died.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office said 40-year-old Edward Tillman died of critical injuries on the night of April 2 after the fatal crash that happened near North 60th Street and West Carmen Avenue. In this accident, another motorcyclist died on the spot and another one reportedly fled the scene.

According to witnesses, the two motorcyclists slammed into the rear passenger door of a northbound vehicle heading onto Carmen Avenue. The Milwaukee Police Department had earlier reported that three motorcyclists were traveling at a speed of 90 mph on 60th Street.

Medical Examiners said Tillman had several surgeries in the days after the crash, but was unable to heal. He died Tuesday night.
