One killed, one injured in single motorcycle accident in

A Wisconsin woman was killed and another rider was seriously injured after a single-vehicle motorcycle crash occurred near Nemo last weekend.

According to police officials, the accident occurred on Vanocker Corner Road when the motorcycle was traveling southbound and two deers crossed into its path. The 61-year-old driver lost control of the motorcycle and went into a ditch on the side of the road.

Both the driver and his 61-year-old passenger were transported to the hospital in order to be treated. The female passenger was pronounced dead upon arriving at the hospital. Neither of the riders were wearing helmets at the time of the collision.

Commuting by motorcycle can be a exciting way to travel, but serious injury can result if an accident occurs. Our thoughts are with the friends and family of the victims at this time.
