Hungarian man builds fully-functional motorcycle out of wood

A Hungarian man from Tiszaros has accomplished an amazing feat: building a functional motorcycle almost entirely out of wood.

Istvan Puskas’ unique chopper is built from weather-resistant black locust wood. It uses a small Fiat engine (with the Italian car maker’s approval) and its handlebars and exhaust pipes are carved from cows’ horns.

The project took him two years to complete, but the impressive machine will certainly turn heads wherever it goes.

The wooden motorcycle unfortunately doesn’t have some of comfort and safety features that factory-made bikes possess, such as shock absorption pads and computer systems. Nevertheless, Puskas’ efforts are inspirational.
