Cochrane man dies in motorcycle crash

A young man from the small town of Cochrane, WI, was killed when his motorcycle crashed last Tuesday, according to the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash occurred at around 4:00 in the afternoon. The man, 24, was traveling south on State Highway 35 when an 18-year-old woman collided with him while attempting to make a left turn onto Indian Creek Road from the northbound lane. They collided head-on.

The man, who was not wearing a helmet, was announced dead on the scene, while the lady sustained only minor injuries.

Our deepest condolences go out to the family of Matthew Triggs.
