Wisconsin motorcyclist in critical condition after crash

A 41-year-old Mount Pleasant man is currently listed in critical condition after he was severely injured in a motorcycle accident on Sunday.

The motorcyclist was attempting to pass a motor vehicle that was turning, when he was unable to get around the vehicle and struck it with intense force. The impact caused the man to become airborne. He was taken by helicopter to a hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Police are investigating the accident, and looking into whether the man was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. The driver of the motor vehicle was uninjured in the collision, and no citations have been given out.
