Ducati motorcycles recalled due to potential fuel leak

The Italian motorcycle company, Ducati, has announced a national recall of specific motorcycles due to fuel leaks.

The Hypermotard models that are affected were manufactured in 2011 between June 25 and November 30. There are 913 motorcycles that were produced during that timeline. These models have the potential for fuel leaks because of micro-cracking in their fuel lines. These leaks could start fires if left unattended.

Ducati plans on informing the owners of these particular models, and will fix the problem with the fuel line free of charge.
