85 people die in Wisconsin motorcycle accidents

At the end of November, there were 85 people who lost their lives in motorcycle accidents across the state of Wisconsin. Of the 85 people, 77 of them were operating the motorcycle and 8 of them were passengers.

Overall in 2011, there were 515 deaths resulting from car accidents in Wisconsin. This number, although it may seem high, is drastically lower than the five-year average for the state.

In the month of November alone there were 50 deaths, making this the third-safest November in Wisconsin’s history dating back to World War II. Police will be paying close attention to drivers who violate safety hazards this holiday season so that people stay safe on the roads.
