Famous skateboarder dies in motorcycle accident

Peter Starrs, a famous skateboarder, passed away on Saturday after he lost control of the motorcycle he was operating in San Francisco.

Investigation into what caused the motorcycle accident is still ongoing, but the 24-year-old was the only one involved in the accident. He was traveling on 101-80 ramp in San Francisco around 12:30 a.m. when he was thrown from the ramp onto the street below.

The Seattle native had relocated to San Francisco in order to become immersed in the skateboarding scene. He was highly regarded as a famous skateboarder and the news of his death was devastating to the tight knit skateboarding world.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victim’s family and friends during this difficult time.
