Benefit held in honor of motorcycle accident victim

A 23-year-old Racine woman was killed this September when she was thrown from a motorcycle during an accident. She died at the scene and left behind a 3-year-old son. The woman was a junior studying criminology at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.

A benefit was held in her memory and raised money to help her family with funeral costs. The benefit featured catered food from where the woman worked while attending college. There were also activities for children to enjoy including face painting.
