Cuba City Man Injured in Wisconsin Motorcycle Accident

A Cuba City man was injured in a Wisconsin motorcycle accident Tuesday.

According to officials with the Wisconsin State Patrol, a 21 year-old man from Cuba City was transported by ambulance to Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries following a motorcycle accident on U.S. 151/161 near Kieler shortly after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. The state patrol has not released the name of the injured motorcyclist.

According to the accident report, a motorcyclist was traveling west on Jimtown Road and pulled into the access area between the north and south lanes when the accident occurred. The motorcycle driver pulled out from the access area and struck a tractor-trailer heading south on the highway. The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
