Police ID Wisconsin Motorcycle Crash Victim

Police have identified a 62 year-old man who was killed Friday in a Wisconsin motorcycle accident.

According to Lieutenant Brian Ulm of the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department, 62 year-old Warren Steigerwald, of the Town of Merton, lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into his home shortly after 4:00 p.m. Friday. Steigerwald, of N49-W28674 Chardon Drive, drove onto his concrete driveway from his front yard and lost control of the motorcycle, crashing into his house, police say. Steigerwald over-accelerated as he crossed from the yard to the driveway and careened into the front of his home.

After striking his home Steigerwald was thrown from the motorcycle, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders.
