Man Killed in Neenah Motorcycle Crash

A 21 year-old man from Neenah was killed in a Wisconsin motorcycle accident Tuesday afternoon.

According to officials with the Wisconsin State Patrol, the two-vehicle collision occurred shortly after 1:00 p.m. at the intersection of South Commercial and Bell streets in Neenah. Police say Mykle J. Drechsel was driving a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle on South Commercial Street at a high rate of speed when he entered the intersection and struck the passenger side of a 2001 Nissan Altima.

The three female occupants of the Nissan, two age 16 and one age 12, were transported to Theda Clark Medical Center where they were treated and released. All three occupants were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

Drechsel was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
