Woman charged in motorcycle accident fatality

A Michigan man was killed last Friday morning when another driver turned in front of his motorcycle, causing both the driver and his passenger to be ejected from the bike. The accident occurred on 136th Avenue. The driver, Robert Wright, and his passenger, Lisa Hagen, were both rushed to a nearby hospital. Wright died eight days after the accident and Hagen is in stable condition.

Prosecutors initially decided on Thursday to charge Angel Heisley, the driver who caused the accident, with a 5-year prison sentence. Heisler was charged with two counts of driving without a license. Her sentence could increase, however, now that Wright has died.

Our deepest condolences go out to the family and friends of all those involved in this tragic accident.
