Man dies in motorcycle collision

A motorcyclist died Tuesday from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident shortly after noon in the town of Oakdale, Wis., authorities said. Police said a vehicle was driving northbound when it neared a curve on Itasca Road. The man’s motorcycle, driving southbound, came around the curve and hit the vehicle.

The 37-year-old man was taken to Tomah Memorial Hospital in Tomah, Wis., where he died from injuries sustained in the accident, authorities said. The motorcycle crash remained under investigation as of Thursday, police said.
