Motorcycle recall affects Honda Goldwing models
Posted on Wednesday, December 21st, 2011 at 3:35 pm
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, along with Honda, has declared a recall on 126,000 Honda Goldwing motorcycles.
An issue with the secondary brakes is the reason for the national recall. The master cylinder on the brakes has the potential to pull down the rear brakes of the bike, increasing the chance to be involved in an accident.
This recall affects the GL 1800 models of the Honda Goldwing that were manufactured between 2001 and 2010 as well as the 2012 models. Beginning in January, owners of these recalled motorcycles can have their bike inspected and fixed for free at any Honda dealership.
Motorcycle malfunctions can be the reason for serious accidents and injuries. If you have been injured in an accident due to a malfunctioning motorcycle, please contact the Wisconsin motorcycle malfunction lawyers of Habush Habush & Rottier, S.C. by calling 800-242-2874 today.
