A Wisconsin woman is dead and her husband critically injured after the motorcycle they were traveling on was struck by an oncoming motor vehicle.

The motorcycle accident happened on Highway 371 when the couple on the motorcycle decided to cross over the highway median where they were hit by an oncoming vehicle.

The woman died at the scene of the accident and her husband received critical injuries and was taken to North Memorial Medical Center.

The driver of the motor vehicle was not injured.
